To be a successful teacher, one does not necessarily have to make sure all students are focusing and fully paying attention to him in a class. In fact, to be able nurturing a higher level of interest in learning among the students in their class,a teacher will certainly succeed as an educator. It is the responsibility of teachers and also education system itself in order to keep students motivated to learn. However, to encourage students to learn is tough especially for those teachers are just about to start teaching as people seem to notice it is as an easy job to do. Moreover, a high expectation from the students themselves, parents and society towards a teacher is really matter in order to nurture them on keep learning. Hnece, there are several ways for the teachers to use so that students are motivated to learn and study.
One of the ways that can be used by teachers is basically giving rewards to make the students interested in learning. This is because to use punishment and threats to students in learning is not effective yet it ruins the learning process itself. Good performances will be rewarded with credits or prizes but the poor one will be either more monitored by the teachers or ignored. This system is very effective to the students so that there will be a healthy and competitive spirits among them to study.
Another way to keep students learning is making the process itself fun. It is possibly one of the best methods to the students. To learn in a really convinient classroom with fully equipped with tools that suits the learning process and also facilitated by an enthusiasm teacher,will definitely inspires the students to learn. So, in addition to create a class be as interesting and fun as possible, one may reward those who beyond the expectation and also penalise the indiscipline students too.
In conclusion, to motivate students keep on learning and studying is not an easy task. Yet, to make them to have interest in learning, the educators need to make a lot of efforts. Besides, they also need to understand the students as well especially those with lower performances. So that they manage to help and improvise their teaching skill in order to make the students never lose hope and continue to learn.
